Ontarians may soon be able to buy a six-pack of their favourite suds without a visit to the Beer Store.
There’s a report the provincial government is set to unveil a plan to expand the places where alcohol is sold, including beer in corner stores.
The move will fulfill a promise made by Doug Ford five years ago.
The province will also reportedly announce its intention for the future of its deal with the Beer Store, allowing the privately owned retailer to remain involved in the distribution of beer for restaurants, bars and grocery stores, as well as its own retail outlets.
