Canadian rock legend Geddy Lee is about to release a new memoir.
The Rush front-man is set to release “My Effin’ Life” on November 14, which will coincide with a 14-city North American book tour.
During the tour, Lee will read passages from the memoir, take part in a conversation led by a guest interviewer and take questions from the audience.
The “My Effin’ Life” tour launches at the Beacon Theatre in New York on November 13 before hitting Canadian cities Montreal on November 21 and Vancouver on November 23 and then finishing off at Massey Hall in Toronto on December 7.
Public tickets will go on sale Friday with each seat purchased coming with a copy of the book. The guest interviewer lineup has yet to be announced.
The event promises a “deep reflection of his family and childhood” as well as a look back on the formation and success of Rush, the legendary Toronto rock act that included guitarist Alex Lifeson and the late Neil Peart.
