Two days after Bonnie Crombie announced she’s exploring the possibility of running for the Liberal leadership, Doug Ford’s reacted publicly.
”My first reaction is ‘What Took You So Long?’ … she’s been campaigning for five-years,” says the premier.
”My second reaction is ‘Bring It On’ … as simple as that.  You can’t be mayor and running for a leader.  You can’t put your butt on both sides of the fence.”
Crombie has said she’ll stay on as mayor while mulling over a possible leadership bid.
The deadline for those interested to register to run is September 5.
Party members will cast votes by ranked ballot November 25 and 26 with the Liberals announcing their new leader December 2.
