Talks are set to resume Tuesday between negotiators for the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency, as some 35,000 CRA employees begin day 14 of their strike.
It was early Monday, PSAC announced a deal with the Treasury Board covering 120,000 public servants.
It includes a 12.6 percent raise over four years along with a one time lump sum payment of $2500.

He told Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with guest host Jane Brown, these kind of increases are unaffordable for most employers.
“The Bank of Canada has said that we’re all supposed to be about 2 percent, 3 percent at the most. Do you go back and make everyone’s salary retroactive?” Wright quipped, “The thing that is also going to be galling to people in this country is that this is a government who doesn’t know when to stop spending on anything.”
By contrast, PSAC President Chris Aylward says Canadians should be emboldened to ask their employers for raises to make up for the rise in the cost of living.
