A man who’s been preserving TV memorabilia since 1989 is auctioning off about one-thousand lots of items after his dream of creating a museum failed to come together.

James Comisar has Johnny Carson’s talk show set, the bar where Sam Malone greeted customers on “Cheers,” Archie Bunker’s living room from “All in the Family” and the pink costume Barbara Eden wore in “I Dream of Jeannie.”

Other items on the block include a tunic worn by Superman in the 50s T-V series, barware from “Mad Men” and costumes and props from the 60s T-V series “Batman.”

But you can always check out Moses Znaimer’s  MZTV Museum  at the ZoomerPlex in Liberty Village that features over over 10,000 items focusing on the history of television technology and its impact.
