After making a surprise visit to Kyiv Monday in a grand gesture of support, Biden is in Warsaw with a mission to solidify Western unity as both Ukrainian and Russian forces are preparing spring offensives.

While in Ukraine’s capital Monday, Biden said it is critical that there be no doubt about U.S. support for Ukraine.

“One year later, Kyiv stands and Ukraine stands,” Biden stated while speaking in Kyiv, “Democracy stands. The Americans stand with you and the world stands with you.”

Biden also pledged an additional $500-million in war supplies for Ukraine.

The war has already left tens of thousands dead, devastated Ukraine’s infrastructure system and the global economy.
