Microsoft says it is investigating issues with its online services, including its Teams messaging platform and Outlook email system, after users worldwide reported outages.
The tech company reported “service degradation” for a number of its Microsoft 365 services, in a status update.
On the Downdetector website, which tracks outage reports, thousands of users reported problems with Teams, Outlook, the Azure cloud computing service, and the XBox Live online gaming service early Wednesday.
The number of reports had dropped significantly by later in the morning.
Many users took to social media to complain that the services were down.
The company tweeted that a network change suspected of causing the issue had been rolled back.
