Freedom Convoy 2.0 is a no go.

The group behind the planned protest for Winnipeg is calling it off.

Canada Unity founder James Bauder blamed non-specific security breaches and personal attacks.

He was among dozens arrested last February during the first convoy and faces charges including mischief as well as disobeying court orders and the police.

A public inquiry, that looked into the federal government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to end last year’s protest and border blockades, is to release its report next month.
