Elon Musk has posted a video showing him strolling into Twitter headquarters ahead of Friday’s deadline to close his $44 billion deal to buy the company.
The video shows him carrying a sink through a lobby area and was accompanied by the message – “Entering Twitter H-Q – let that sink in!”
Musk also changed his Twitter profile to refer to himself as “Chief Twit” and his location to Twitter headquarters, which is based in San Francisco.
A court has given Musk until the end of the week to close his agreement to acquire the company after he earlier tried to back out of the deal.
Neither Musk nor Twitter has said if the deal is closed yet.
Last week, it was reported that Musk plans to lay off 75% of Twitter’s staff if he takes over.
