The front man and lead singer for the legendary Irish band U-2 has written a memoir.

Bono says he’s found some stories to sing and some songs to tell so he’s doing a book tour to support his memoir “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.”

The now 62-year old, whose birth name is Paul David Hewson, will kick off the tour in New York November 2nd the day after the book is published.

In a statement, the Dublin native says he’ll have some fun presenting what he calls his “ME-moir” which he says is really more of a “WE-moir” when he thinks about all the people who helped him get to where he is.
