Toronto is launching a major push to reach unvaccinated residents.

“Starting Thursday, we’re launching what we’re calling “Days of Vaxtion”

Mayor John Tory says the four-day mobile strategy will target neighbourhoods will low vaccination rates.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Eileen de Villa says there are key indicators that determine the locations.

“So we’re looking at outcomes, infections, and vaccination coverage rates as these are among the key indicators that help us determine how best to situate mobile clinics in that very hyper local way.”

de Villa says we’re in the last mile of the vaccination campaign and the goal of fully immunizing 90 per cent of eligible Torontonians is within reach.

Data shows that the unvaccinated are seven times more likely to become infected with COVID-19.

Since the province announced the new vaccine passport policy, there’s been a 24 percent increase in first doses administered in Toronto.

The clinics will be held at schools, parks, TTC stations, malls and more. Check the city’s website for the list of locations, also printed below.
