Stratford, Ontario  comedian Stewart Reynolds, widely known as Brittlestar, calls himself  ‘The Internet’s Favourite Dad.’

His videos are must-see viewing for hundreds of thousands of fans every week where he uses humour and music to comment on everything including the pandemic. Stewart started posting his wildly popular social media videos in 2013.

“I strive to create content that’s like if you watch National Lampoon’s Vacation, except on television, so there’s no swearing and no boobs,” quipped Reynolds.

Brittlestar uses his Canadian sensibilities when commenting on everything from his disdain for the anti maskers he calls the stupid people to his appreciation for front line workers. Even commenting on the ever growing locks on Toronto’s Mayor.

“For months, Mayor John Tory’s hair has grown wild, as it continued its journey to his shoulders, it has defied all odds and grown confusingly thicker, somebody just needs to give that man a hair cut.”

Reynolds uses his platform to mix entertainment with good messaging, and gets serious when talking about mental health and the pandemic.

“This is kind of a war effort, like we kind of need to sort of put aside all our nonsense and  silly grievances with each other and work together to get through this so we can go back to all those silly nonsense grievances.”

His videos are a family affair – his wife and two sons appear often along with his Scottish-born Father and Mother.

The long time musician wrote a love song for former Canadian retailer  Zellers  which confused his American followers.

What’s next for Stewart? His short story has been picked up for a TV  series but in the meantime you can still find him on all social media platforms.

“Just search Brittlestar, you’ll see an amazingly good-looking man with black rimmed glasses, that’s me!”
