At one point he was probably the best known film director and producer in the world.
Now, there’s a new book that details the life and time of Alfred Hitchcock, known through his work as the “Master of Suspense .”
It is said that there have been more books written out him than any other film maker.
The latest is by Edward White. It’s called “The Twelve Lives of Alfred Hitchcock” and presents twelve portraits of the man, taken from twelve different angles.
Hitchcock reigned over cinema from the ’40s through the ’70s and was nominated for five academy awards but never won.
Alfred Hitchcock died in 1980 at the age of 80.
