As the U.S. Electoral College confirmed he will become America’s president next month, Joe Biden is commemorating his win and using his strongest language to date to blast outgoing President Donald Trump’s failed bids to challenge the November election results.

While speaking Monday night in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, Biden said amid the president’s baseless fraud claims and dozens of legal challenges, “democracy prevailed.”

He played up the numbers, that he had won 7-million more votes than Trump and 306 electoral votes, noting Trump received the same number four years ago when Trump called the achievement, “a landslide.”

At the same time he played up his theme that he will be president for all Americans, aiming to guide a sharply divided nation through the virus pandemic and more.

“Now, it’s time to turn the page,” he said.

On January 6th, the U.S. Congress votes to endorse the Electoral College result and that will finally and officially pave the way for Joe Biden to become the 46th President of the United States.
