Ontario’s top doctor is warning some of us are getting casual with public health measures after a COVID- 19 outbreak at a Muskoka resort.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams says a group that stayed at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville on the Civic holiday weekend ignored physical distancing and social bubble rules. Eleven of the thirty have now tested positive. The local health unit says none had symptoms while they were on the trip but developed them later. Dr. Williams says in these instances, local businesses must be closed in until local public health units can investigate.
