The Aeroplan loyalty program will look different starting November 8th.

Air Canada says all Aeroplan miles will automatically be honoured on a one-to-one basis when its new plan begins. The airline says it will be an simple transition for  members who will keep the same account number, but go from earning miles to earning points.The changes eliminate added airline surcharges on all flight rewards with Air Canada and plan members will be able to combine Aeroplan points with others in their household at no charge.
