Therapy dogs will soon be bringing comfort to anxious travelers at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. Fifteen dog teams from St. John Ambulance will roam around terminals 1 on a weekly rotation to relieve travelers’ stress. The dogs can be recognized by their red and white St. John Ambulance bandannas, and will be accompanied by handlers wearing blue Pearson airport vests. The airport authority says passengers are welcome to approach the dogs and pet them. The airport served more than 47 million passengers in 2017, making it the second-busiest North American airport.
