If you live in the city of Toronto , your mail delivery will be delayed. Unionized postal workers are holding their rotating strikes today in Toronto but Scarborough and the 905 won’t be impacted. Canada Post says customers nationwide may actually experience significant delays for parcel and mail delivery, since Toronto is a key processing hub. The union, CUP-W, says among the issues in the talks is delivery of recreational cannabis. Other key issues include extra parcel handling and the changing nature of postal work with the growth of online shopping.
