Kathleen Wynne is admitting that her Liberals will lose the June 7th provincial election.

The Liberals have been trailing the Doug Ford Progressive Conservatives and the Andrea Horwath New Democrats in recent polls, with suggestions that either one of the leaders could end up being the next Premier of Ontario.

Wynne says her focus now is to get as many Liberal candidates elected as possible in order to prevent one of the other parties from forming a majority government.

She says it’s the only way to keep the new government “from acting too extreme one way or the other.”

Wynne declined to support either the NDP or the Tories, and hasn’t said whether she will stay on as Premier following the election.
