It’s a light Saturday on the campaign trail for the three main party leaders. NDP leader Andrea Horwath and Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne each had a single event scheduled.

During a campaign stop in Brampton Saturday, Andrea Horwath announced her government’s plan to put portable defibrillators in all public spaces. When asked about her strategy heading into Sunday’s leaders debate, she told reporters she’ll remain committed to “every day people” who want to see more opportunity for young people and better quality of care for seniors. Kathleen Wynne told reporters she plans to fight her back by from low poll numbers by continuing to talk about her party’s record, like boosting minimum wage, full day kindergarten, free tuition, and free prescription meds for youth and seniors. PC Leader Doug Ford has no scheduled events today ahead of Sunday’s debate. Libby Znaimer, who hosted a debate on healthcare issues Friday at the Zoomerplex, is attending  Sunday’s debate so listen to Zoomer Radio for her reports.
