HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE DIAGNOSIS TO CHANGE IN THE U-S

In health news that affects millions of Zoomers, the American Heart Association is changing the way U-S doctors diagnose hypertension. The new medical guidelines lower the threshold for high blood pressure. The U-S upper threshold had been 140 since 1993. The threshold in Canada has not changed.  Europe is still at 140 but is expected to revise its guidance next year.
