It’s one of Toronto’s busiest exit ramps into the downtown core, and now, it’s closed for good.
The York-Bay-Yonge Exit from the east-bound Gardiner Expressway is being torn down Monday morning to be replaced by one exit ramp going onto lower Simcoe Road.
But that won’t be ready for another 9 months!
Mayor John Tory has said they will try to do some of the construction overnight, but the new ramp isn’t slated to open until January 2018.
