If you are shopping with Amazon this holiday season, pilots delivering your goods are warning they may be a little later than anticipated. A union representing the pilots who fly products for the company are running social media ads warning that their members are underpaid and over-tasked — which could translate into late deliveries. Employee-rights attorney Darin Laipinsky says online videos are a way to get Amazon’s attention and appeal to the public for support in their labour dispute. The ads are appearing on Facebook and Google. Amazon is responding with assurances that deliveries will not be late.
