Pope Francis paid a quick visit to Syrian refugees on Lesbos today, and he took 12 of them back to the Vatican with him.
The Pope toured a refugee camp on the Greek island where 25-hundred people are seeking asylum in Europe.
The three families, including six children, who travelled with the Pope had all fled Syria after their homes were bombed.
The Vatican says the Holy See will take responsibility for the migrants.
Pope Francis encouraged Catholic families around the world to take in a family of refugees.
