The Montreal Museaum of Fine Arts has once again been named the most visited art museum in Canada.
That’s according to The Art Newsletter in its annual survey of museum attendance.
It says that slightly more than a million people visited the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 2014. That makes it, according to the survey, the 58th most popular art museum in the world, and North America’s 12th most popular.
There are just two other Canadian facilities on the list, and they’re both in Toronto.
The Royal Ontario Museum had 934,384 visitors to put at number 62, and the Art Gallery of Ontario had 757,462, good for number 80 on the list.
