Members of the armed forces, along with veterans, dignitaries and spectators were on hand in Whitby yesterday for the opening of “The Park of Reflection.”
It’s the first monument and park dedicated to wounded veterans and other uniformed personnel who were wounded while on duty.
It’s being called a living tribute to survivors and the families who care for them.
“The Park of Reflection” was designed by Canadian Armed Forces veteran Damian Boyce, who served in Bosnia.
