There`s heavy criticism aimed at the Harper governemnt for preventing people from three West African countries battling the Ebola virus from entering Canada.
The ban on visas applies to Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea which are experiencing widespread transmission of the Ebola virus.
David Fidler, an international law expert at Indiana University says the ban is a violation of international health regulations that Canada helped draft after the 2003 SARS outbreak.
The WHO says there is no evidence that such a ban affects the spread of Ebola.
