Major retailers are closed Christmas Day with the exception of the Pacific Mall in Markham which is open 365 days a year.

Some pharmacies will be operating with limited hours, and most variety stores and gas stations will be open.

On Boxing Day, the major malls reopen, but beer and liquor stores, government offices, libraries, banks and the post office are all closed.

They open again for business December 27th.

On Christmas Day, the TTC will operate on its Sunday schedule and on its weekend schedule Boxing Day.  It’s back to normal Friday.

GO Transit will operate on its Sunday schedule for Christmas Day….and the Sunday schedule on Boxing Day on the Lakeshore Line, and its Saturday schedule for Boxing Day on all other routes.
