New research from Consumer Reports finds the benefits of drugs touted as making men more virile and energetic are overblown.

Editor Lisa Gill says supplements, pills, and drugs that will replace a man’s testosterone carry some very significant risks, including breast enlargement, blood clots in legs, enlarged prostate and sleep apnea.

What’s even more alarming, the research shows testosterone may speed up the growth of prostate cancers, and increase the risk of heart attack.
