The Queen owns horses, rides them and races them, but now Brits are wondering if she inadvertently ate horse meat.
In mid-January, D-N-A tests on beef products found that more than a third of brands at five U-K supermarkets contained at least a trace of horse.
Such discoveries have spread like wildfire across Europe.
And now the catering company which supplied the races at Royal Ascot has pulled all frozen beef products after finding horsemeat in its ground beef.
