The Emmy nominated actor who played a drug lord in ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’ has died in a New York hospital after a brief illness.

Margolis also was known for many film roles, appearing in Scarface and The Wrestler.

Born in Philadelphia, raised in New York City, Margolis honed his craft on the stage before emerging as a on-screen character actor.

Margolis went on to appear in over 70 films over five decades.
