The estates of two well-loved comedians are suing Pandora claiming the music and podcast sharing platform has been willfully streaming material from the late Robin Williams and the late George Carlin.

The lawsuit claims the platform has been streaming that material with out proper licensing.

Williams’s estate is seeking more than $4 million in damages, Carlin’s estate is looking for twice that amount.

The suit alleges that Pandora gained listeners, subscribers and market share with full knowledge it did not have licenses to use the comedy acts and has not offered even a fraction of a penny in compensation to the comedian’s survivors.
