Libby Znaimer is joined, first, by Ontario Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk, followed by Ontario Minister of Long Term Care, Dr. Merrilee Fullerton and, after that, by Dr. Shawn Whatley, former President of the OMA.

Yesterday, Bonnie tabled the 2019 auditor general’s report. The report details that long-term care homes in the province are not following a consistent plan of care for residents. It also found that the food provided at long-term care homes aren’t always up to standard when it comes to nutritional value and quality.

When it comes to hospital care, the report reveals that of the one million patients discharged over the course of a year, 67-thousand of them were harmed during treatment. Libby and guests discuss.
