Foodies, mark your calendar! The first Canadian location of Italian brand EATALY opens in Toronto next month. The giant space at the Manulife Building at Bay and Bloor celebrates Italian culture through its one-of-a-kind approach; eat, shop and learn. Franchise CEO Nicola Farinetti calls his brand an ‘experience’ and his food philosophy is simple. Make it delicious, clean and fair. This expansive Italian culinary destination spans 50,000 square feet on three floors. Expect the Italian stables of pizza, gelato, seafood, cheeses and an enormous pasta bar. Foodies will be excited to hear there’ll be over a thousand Italian products that have never been available before in Canada. Visitors can either enjoy a sit down meal at one of the restaurants, shop for fresh food to cook at home, or learn about food. Farinetti says food is fuel and we need to educate ourselves about using only the healthiest and freshest ingredients possible. Eataly Toronto opens to the public Nov 13th at 5 p.m. For more information, visit
