A legendary T-V comedy aired for the first time 30 years ago.

We first met Jerry Seinfeld in an early incarnation of the show about nothing called “The Seinfeld Chronicles” featuring Jerry and George bantering in Pete’s Coffee Shop, not Monks, as it would later be called. A more subdued Kramer also appeared although he was then called Kessler. Elaine didn’t show up until the second episode. The pilot was the only episode that aired in 1989 and it wasn’t until a year later that N-B-C ordered more episodes of what would become the Emmy-winning”Seinfeld”. Seinfeld has gone on to host the popular web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
