It’s another unusually warm October day.

In fact, it hasn’t been this warm in Toronto during an October 9th and 10th since 1949!

The city set a high temperature record Tuesday for October 9th of 29 degrees celcius, beating the record of 28.3 degrees from 69 years ago. And Wednesday, October 10th, we’re expecting to beat the 1949 high temperature record of 26.1 degrees with a high of 27.

The coldest Toronto day on October 10th was in 1972 when it was -5.0 degrees.

Temperatures get back to normal on Thursday, as Toronto goes from an overnight low of 20 to an afternoon temperature of 16 celcius.

Temperatures will be below normal Friday through Sunday, with sunshine on Friday and Saturday, and clouds in the forecast for Sunday.
