The Washington Post plans to publish what’s described as a “comprehensive” book about Donald Trump – documenting his run for the U.S. presidency – whether or not he wins the GOP nomination.
Trump Revealed is due out on August 23rd – and will draw on the work of more than two dozen Post researchers and reporters.
Executive editor Martin Baron says Trump is a presidential candidate unlike any ever seen before – with positions that have turned the political landscape upside down.
Baron was editor-in-chief at The Boston Globe when he helped to guide the paper’s Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation of sexual abuse by Boston Catholic Priests.
That formed the the basis of the Academy Award winning movie “Spotlight.”
The Republican convention is scheduled for a month before the book is released.
