A 24-year-old Richmond Hill man wanted for several child-pornography related charges has been arrested, according to Toronto Police.

The man, Brandon Walker, surrendered to police last Tuesday and is now facing 11 charges including luring a child under 16, possession of child pornography, making child pornography and extortion.

Police say two young girls reported a man they had been communicating with on Facebook had demanded nude pictures and threatened them with exposure via social media if they didn’t send the photos or go along with his with his demands.

Police are urging parents to direct their children to use the internet in common areas of the house, where adults can see what they are surfing.  They also say parents should know their children’s accounts and passwords.
