Great news for fans of writer Umberto Eco.
His book “Numero Zero,” which is a bestseller in the novelist’s native Italy – will hit the U.S. market this autumn.
Publisher Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt has set a November 3rd release date for Eco’s story – of a ghostwriter in Milan caught up in an underworld of crime and conspiracy.
Eco is known for his complex plots – and his publisher says the latest novel will feature “corrupt newspapers,” and the ”cadaver of Mussolini’s double.“
The 83-year-old Eco attained worldwide fame decades ago with “The Name of the Rose.”
His other books include “Foucault’s Pendulum” and “The Prague Cemetery.”
