More Rob Ford and Alexander Lisi documents have been made public.
An Ontario judge has released another portion of police documents that include a police description of the infamous video that appears to show Mayor Ford smoking crack cocaine.
At one point on the video, Rob Ford is described as holding a glass cylinder in his mouth and using a lighter at the tip of the cylinder – in a circular motion.
Police say that after several seconds Ford appears to inhale the vapour.
Ford is heard in the video saying off camera the name “Liban.”
It was Liban Syad who was the person that Ford’s friend Alexander Lisi was negotiating with – for the return of the Mayor’s phone.
The documents also reveal the investigation, dubbed Project Brazen 2, is continuing.
Meanwhile — The Toronto Star reports that police detectives have established that Mayor Rob Ford’s frequent communications and meetings with Alexander Lisi are “indicative to that of drug trafficking,” according to new police documents released in court.
Police presented this information to a Toronto judge to obtain a production order for Ford’s cell phone and his Onstar phone on his Cadillac vehicle.
Detectives want Ford’s records to see who he was calling – or being called by – between March and October 2013.
It could be several weeks before that information is released.
