Scarborough Councillor Paul Ainslie plans to file a formal complaint with the Integrity Commissioner at City Hall today over robocalls that followed last week’s vote on the Scarborough Subway extension. Ainslie voted against the subway extension in favour of light rapid transit. Following the vote, some Scarborough residents received robocalls from Mayor Ford, pointing out Ainslie’s voting record. Ford told his weekly radio audience he was merely doing his job in pointing out how councillors vote. Ainslie also resigned from the executive committee following the vote.
