A warning to anyone planning to drive around downtown Toronto this weekend — festivities for the 100th anniversary Grey Cup game could make things a little tricky.
Police are urging people to make smart choices about their transportation.
They recommend using public transit, designated drivers and taxis to get to and from the Grey Cup events.
Police also warn that RIDE patrols will be in operation throughout Toronto.
There will also be rolling lane closures to facilitate the C-F-L Fan March Sunday starting at 12-30 p-m.
The March begins at Varsity Stadium on Bloor Street and will wind its way downtown to University Avenue at Front Street.
Residents of many areas of southern and northern Ontario may get to practice their winter driving this weekend.
Environment Canada says some areas west and north of the city could see up to 15 centimetres of snow as a cold front moves across the province.
