This week, we saw two discouraging reports on wait times in Canada’s health care system. One deals with getting care in emergency rooms in the GTA. The other says that compared to people in other countries, Canadians have a hard time getting same-day or next-day appointments with a family doctor. Libby talks to Kathleen Morris of the Canadian Institute for Health Information about both of these reports.
Plus – this week CARP welcomed a new Vice-President of Advocacy. Libby sits down with Wanda Morris to talk about what challenges she’s excited for and ready to tackle in her new role.
