It’s Canada’s 148th birthday this week! Immigrants have always played a very important role in shaping our country, and they continue to do so. This week, 25 immigrants were honoured for their contributions to Canadian Culture. One of them was celebrity chef Vikram Vij, who came to Canada in the late 1980s. He joins Libby to share his story.
Plus – This week the country’s largest health charity threw down the gauntlet. The Canadian Cancer Society says the federal government is undermining the fight against cancer. Libby is joined by Canadian Cancer Society CEO Pamela Fralick to explain. [jwplayer player=”1″ mediaid=”115733″]
