The 2015 Academy Awards shone a spotlight on Alzheimer’s Disease. While many are hailing the awareness Hollywood is giving Alzheimer’s, not everyone agrees it’s the right kind of attention. Libby will be joined by Sherry Dupuis, an Alzheimer’s research specialist from the University of Waterloo.

Plus, it’s something that many Zoomers are familiar with: Packing up the belongings of a recently deceased parent can be an emotional journey full of self discovery and a new appreciation of the complexity of a family. That inspired Plum Johnson to write the memoir, They Left Us Everything. She came by the studio to talk with Libby about her experience.

Plus, after years of planning, controversy, and cost overruns, it’s opening weekend for the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg. Libby will talk to the Museum’s CEO Stuart Murray.
