20th ANNIVERSARY of AM 740/ZOOMER RADIO:

Next week marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of Zoomer Radio – on January 8th, 2001 – when it was simply called ‘AM 740’. There’s a lot of history packed into those 20 years – stories of the men and women who built the station and the stories of the songs and artists we championed.  I can tell you this story because I was there at the start – the station’s Program Director for its first decade, and I was fortunate to work with some truly wonderful people then – and now.

I’m delighted and privileged to welcome our Zoomer Media founder, Moses Znaimer, who’ll add his impressions and recollections during the 3-4pm. hour.  I hope you’ll join me for this very special edition of ‘Vintage Favourites‘ on Sunday, January 3rd from 1:00 to 4:30pm.
