This week on The Conspiracy Show:

Richard welcomes a writer/researcher, radio personality who theorizes UFOs are likely terrestrial in origin, possibly originating from our own technological advancement at some point in the future after ‘The Singularity’ has been reached. Heavily influenced by Transhumanist Ray Kurzweil, he explores the singularity and its implications in light of recorded UFO phenomena. After technological singularity is reached, a greater than human super intelligence may result, and in so doing, there is no telling what we as a species and our creations may be able to do, including going back to the past to get first-hand views of historical events or performing maneuvers that seem to break known laws of physics. As such, UFOs may, in fact, be these manifestations of our future technological advancements and not alien at all.

Guest: Micah Hanks has held a long fascination with the more unique scientific mysteries this world has to offer. A self proclaimed (but not self-righteous) skeptic, Micah works as a writer and researcher, as a well as a radio personality whose work addresses a variety of unexplained phenomena. Over the last decade, his research has taken him into studies of the more esoteric realms of the strange and unusual, as well as cultural phenomena, human history, and the prospects of our technological future as a species as influenced by science.

He is author of several books, including Magic, Mysticism and the Molecule, Reynolds Mansion: An Invitation to the Past, and his 2012 New Page Books release, The UFO Singularity. Hanks is also an executive editor for Intrepid Magazine, and consulting editor for FATE Magazine and The Journal of Anomalous Sciences. He also writes for a variety of other publications including UFO Magazine, Mysterious Universe, and New Dawn. Hanks has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs, including National Geographic’s Paranatural, the History Channel’s Guts and Bolts, CNN Radio, and The Jeff Rense Program. He also produces a weekly podcast that follows his research at his popular website,

Richard speaks with a writer/philosopher who affirms that evidence of life beyond death exists and has been around for millennia, predating any organized religion. Focusing on three key phenomena–reincarnation, apparitions, and communications from the dead– Chris Carter reveals 125 years of documented scientific studies by independent researchers and the British and American Societies for Psychical Research that rule out hoaxes, fraud, and hallucinations and prove these afterlife phenomena are real.  He has examined 125 years of scientific research into reincarnation, apparitions, and communication with the dead showing these phenomena are real and explains how these findings have been ignored and denied because they are incompatible with materialist doctrines.

Guest: Chris Carter received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Oxford. He is the author of a number of books on the conflict between science and the supernatural including, Science and Psychic Phenomena: The Fall of the House of Skeptics , and his new book, Science and the Afterlife Experience: Evidence for the Immortality of Consciousness.  Carter is originally from Canada and currently lives in South Korea.
