This week on The Conspiracy Show Richard welcomes an author and rock and roll investigator to unravel the mysteries behind the rumour that former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was secretly replaced with a double. In 1969, the “Paul is Dead” rumors spread across American radio airwaves like wildfire. Some of the “clues” were manufactured by the media to help lend credence to the bizarre rumor of Paul McCartney’s supposed death in a car accident. Certainly, many of these clues were stretches, but several were so startling that they had to be placed by the Beatles themselves. These cryptic clues have helped to keep yet another generation wondering, “What if this story is true?”

Guest: R. Gary Patterson is a native Tennessean with a passion for rock and roll. As a published author with Simon and Schuster, Patterson’s works portray many fascinating events that helped shape musical history from Robert Johnson through current groups making a place for themselves among rock and roll’s standing legends. In 1996, Patterson released his first book entitled “The Walrus Was Paul.” Immediately, the book became highly sought after. Beatlefest catalog proclaimed “The Walrus Was Paul” as one of its best selling titles of the year. Due to the instant success of the book, Patterson found himself as a highly sought after radio personality. He appeared on all the syndicated Beatle radio shows including Westwood One’s “The Beatle Years,” ABC Radio’s “Beatle Archives,” the “Breakfast With the Beatles” programs from New York to Los Angeles, and Joe Johnson’s “Beatle Brunch.” International shows were broadcast throughout Canada, Great Britain on the BBC, Australia, and Radio Caroline in New Zealand. He has appeared at numerous national Beatle conventions including “Beatlefests” in New York and Chicago, and other Beatle conventions in Orlando, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Memphis, and Nashville.

Shortly thereafter, Patterson released his second work, “Hellhounds on Their Trail.” In this work, Patterson continued with his popular theme of rock and roll’s enduring myths and legends. Hellhounds on Their Trail begins with Robert Johnson waiting at the Crossroads just outside Clarksdale, Mississippi to make his deal with Old Scratch. Other chapters focus on hidden messages in rock, Jimmy Page and the Zeppelin Curse, strange fatal coincidences in the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd bands, and a discussion of an exclusive group of musicians who were members of “The Club,” whose only membership requirement was untimely death at the tender age of 27.

Patterson’s third book was released by Simon and Schuster’s Fireside Books on July 13, 2004. It is called “Take a Walk on the Dark Side: Rock and Roll Myths,Legends and Curses.” Of course, Gary is collecting more tales for his next volume of great rock and roll myths and legends so check back for information concerning its release date.

Richard speaks with a paranormal researcher about her latest investigation in SW Pennsylvania where a woman has encountered shadow people and an attempted abduction by a creature with lobster-like claws.  The farm,
located in a remote hollow has also seen UFO activity, ghost-lights, and strange howling from the woods, which some believe are from Bigfoot.

Guest: Rosemary Ellen Guiley is one of the leading experts on the paranormal with more than 50 books published by major houses on a wide range of paranormal, spiritual, and mystical topics, including nine single-volume encyclopedias. Her work is translated into 15 languages. She has worked full-time in the paranormal since 1983, researching, investigating, writing, and presenting, and teaching. Her present work focuses interdimensional entity contact experiences of all kinds, technological and mediumistic spirit communications, spiritual growth and development, problem hauntings, and “portals,” or geographic areas of intense paranormal activity. She spends a great deal of her time out in the field conducting investigations and research. She has done ground-breaking research on Shadow People and the Djinn.

Richard welcomes an engineer involved in the production of black ops advanced, massive optics  weaponry about his journey from guns and lasers to metaphysics and spirituality.

Guest: Steven D. Kelly was born and raised in southern California.  He started a career in the precision electro optics field during the advent of the laser. He rose from optics manufacturing technician to manager of quality control, engineering, and production control.  During this time, Steven was advancing the state of the art of semi conductors, military systems, and massive optics.  After leaving to start his own company, S.K.Industries, became involved with CIA working in support of Iraq vs. Iran.  Sometime later, the newly formed company received a contract to build solid-state lasers for what would turn out to be an NSA operation run by Ollie North.    It was a result of that experience that Steven became awake and began the process of researching the truth and getting on the path to enlightenment.

After a falling out with the Ollie North gang, Steven became involved with the people working with Billy Meier and his contact with Pleadians.  The purpose of this was for technical insight into information and materials provided to Billy Meier by Semjase.  Steven was exposed at that time to everything about Reptoids, Greys, and even factions within the Pleadians.  Steven began researching the properties of fine silver and the use of this material in the building of beamships.    The association with Billy Meier and the work with fine silver caused an immediate reaction that put Steven and his family and friends, under heavy scrutiny by various alphabet groups.

Reluctantly, there were eventually dealings with Templar’s and Bilderbergers who were called Cavers because of their deep underground bunkers that they operated out of.  Steven was asked to invent a weapon for use against aliens.  It fast became obvious that only the human psychic ability would work where any man made device would be defeated. This began a total shift from focusing on technology to a life dedicated to expanding psychic ability. After living in and seeing the dark side, Steven entered the metaphysical community and the love and light crowd.  Steven learned that the secret to life is to serve others and that it is better to help the victims of evil than to fight the dark side and become a tool of it.  One of the final projects of S.K.Industries was working with a University to produce propulsion capable UV laser light from fine silver, this was not the first exposure to UFO propulsion techniques.  Steven also is working to invent a zero point energy device.

Steven began healing and learning to move energy and has become a Reiki master.  Steven enjoys lecturing about everything from Tesla, Reich, and Schauberger, Metaphysics, Quantum physics, and aliens.   The scientific background provides the mechanical understanding of the workings of the energies we use in Reiki and other psychic endeavours.

After growing the semiconductor laser industry in the U.S.A., S.K.Industries would introduce the LAW-17 laser aiming system, which would revolutionize laser aiming for weapons.  Steven became sought after by numerous countries for information on this technology.  The result was the experience of dealing with the Intelligence agencies from all over the World.  During this time, there was an attempt to lure Steven onto Area 51, which was rejected because of too much prior knowledge.
