INFO – Be Aware Identifying Tax Season Scams

· According to survey by the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada), one in five or approximately 20 per cent of Canadian have been exposed-themselves, a close friend or family member, someone they know-to a tax season scam.

· The survey also found that a majority, 54 per cent, of Canadians don’t know where to report incidents of fraud.
