TOPIC – Senior Advocacy
INFO – Knowing and understanding the value of advocacy is important for people of all ages. Engaging in advocacy takes it to the next level. Advocacy may be taken on from an organizational perspective or as a personal task. As expected, our elected governmental bodies advocate as necessary. Additionally, there are local, provincial, national and international agencies that take on this role, but the ultimate guardian of our rights, is ourselves. Like most things in life, however, there is right way and a wrong way of advocating.
